Seasonal plant sales are great! Lots of nice people to discuss planting strategies as well, would recommend for anyone looking to get some saplings while supporting the local community!

What the Beautification Project is doing for the city is great. I got to pick from trees I'd like for my yard, help on what trees will grow best-then once they came in had a wonderful group of people come plant them as well! I got the pleasure of working with Ellie, a truly kind soul. To be gifted with free trees that, to me, will help in many ways is pretty dang awesome!

I've been obsessed with this place since it was built. Amazing part of the community. It's one of my top 5 favorite houses. I got a bunch of veggie starts from their event. 10/10

Louisville Grows is an incredible organization and the Healthy House is one great piece of it. I know them from tree plantings all around the city, but this physical space is wonderful. This site is where the Seeds and Starts sale is, there’s community space for meetings, an art gallery hallway, a full kitchen for community events, plus nice touches like a little free library, a rain garden, an electric vehicle charging station, an organized tree pickup place, an excellent meeting space for 15-20 people, etc all in addition to being office space for the nonprofit and AmeriCorps VISTA members. Absolute delight touring around this afternoon and excited for the community events it can host post-COVID. Come and get your garden started with fruits, vegetables, flowers and trees!
